Author & In-Store Events

Scattered Books can host an amazing author signing, launch or related event in-store!

We are a NY Times reporting vendor

This means that all sales from your event will get reported to The NY Times towards their bestseller lists and overall awareness of the book. Publishers and authors love doing events that get them book sales reported to news outlets and bestseller lists.

Scattered Books is also completely mobile and ready to be your book vendor for any event – presentations, author talks, charity functions, corporate events, school-sponsored author visits, or anywhere you’d like to have books sold.

We help advertise, encourage pre-orders & create an attractive unique signing space

We create graphics & post on various social media platforms.
We provide books from main publishers or do a buyback from other authors.
We make the most of events with photos, IG stories & the bookstore bunnies.
We accept phone/e-mail order for books from anyone who cannot attend an event and ship FREE to those buyers as a courtesy. Our goal is to maximize sales for you.
We are happy to contribute a % of all sale proceeds to your charity/organization.
We are available to host specialty events such as a cocktail party launch, a book bedazzle activity, provide a coffee bar, scattered sangria or a raffle (fees may apply)
Outside author talks, panels and other types of specialized events are welcome. Scattered Books is fully mobile and can also accommodate remote visits.
